This database contains 5,834 VR object movies, 20,570 static images and 8,393 label information (about 2,769 species) obtained from the preparations, that have been stored and maintained as the Zoological Collection at Stazione Zoologica "Anton Dohrn" di Napoli (SZN) since 1910. The collection conatins 3,094 Liquid preparations, 609 Dry preparations, and 4,689 Microscopic Glass Slide preparations. Also 38 (total 8,938 pages) important documents, in which taxonomical, ecological and phylogenical information have been stored by our successive curators, have been digitized.
